Tomasz Bączek
Dr. Tomasz Bączek is an associate professor and the head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry of the Medical University of Gdańsk, Gdańsk, Poland. Currently he is also the vice-rector for science of the Medical University of Gdańsk. Dr. Bączek’s main research interest comprises pharmaceutical and biomedical analysis, proteomics, chemometrics, medicinal chemistry as well as molecular mechanisms of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics processes. He is an author and co-author of more than 100 original research papers published in pharmaceutically-related (e.g., Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis, Current Pharmaceutical Analysis), analytically-related (e.g., Analytical Chemistry, Journal of Chromatography A) or proteomics-related (e.g., Proteomics, Journal of Proteome Research) journals.
