Ales Podgornik
Ales Podgornik earned his PhD of chemical engineering at University in Ljubljana. He is co-founder of monolith producing company BIA Separations d.o.o., Slovenia, where he served for over 10 year as Head of R&D of and several years also as CSO. Currently he is deputy head of COBIK lab and adjunct professor at Biotechnical faculty. His research field of interest is biochromatography and especially, stationary phases – monoliths. Recently, he is also investigating bacteriophages.
